Flow nightmare

Beacuse i don't have SPS dominant tank, could 4 pumps be an overkill? I know i could use them at 50% - 60% power and position them in top and bottom back corners of a tank so the flow on top would be directed towards the center front glass and bottom pumps would blow directly towards the front...

The more experience I get the more I feel like the only way to have too much flow is if it blasts the tissue off your coral or if they respond negatively. Most softies will love higher flow and most LPS will do fine with it. I have 3 MP10s running about 3/4s power in a 38G tank on reef crest mode (sometimes in a wave). It's a new build and all I have so far is a few fish and some random LPS at the bottom of the tank but plan on having mostly SPS. The LPS are doing great and have no problem with the high flow rate. Other than causing sand storms, I've yet to run into problems with too much flow, but I've certainly had issues with too little flow.
