Flow question

Okay, so I got an anemone today, a BTA. I've read the FAQ, chatted with people who have them (two of my best friends), etc.

However, I do have a flow question.

I put him in a spot which is fairly well sheltered. There is a powerhead that blows the water around him, but he has a rock wall between him (or her, I have no idea) and the powerhead. The powerhead has a rotating nozzle to provide irregular flow.

He does seem to sway every 10 - 15 seconds, but it isn't a "strong" sway. He just sort of blows a little bit.

Is this too much or just right?

He or she will let you know. I had one that split and now half is blowing in the breeze with a fairly strong current and the other has moved to a somewhat sheltered spot. HTH

Well, he's now moved to the back of the tank at the bottom. Doesn't seem to have any direct light there, and is half-closed and sideways (on the rock).

Is this a cause of concern, or will he move himself eventually back out into the light?

you can direct a powerhead right at him(the base/foot is best) to let him know its a bad spot and to move. dont use to powerful of a ph that it shreds the nem.

alot of people try to wait it out and by the time it re emergies its bleached, plus it makes it hard to feed them that way.
