Just a general question, how is everyone measuring flow, in reading various posts. It looks like ball/gate valves are use to help control the flow rate, how is this being measured? The overflow box in my tank has a max rating of 600 GPH, the head calculator says that with the blueline 40X, will have 932 GPH, so it needs to be dialed back.
