Where is the best place to put my vortec pumps? I have a 90gal with one upper front right side of tank and the other mid level mid left side. The Right pump is the master and the left is the slave. I have it set on reef crest but I am not getting a good reef wave. The overflow is back left side of the tank with the 2 water return facing to the right, one straight to the right side and the other angled to the front right. I aam not getting any pooling but I am sure ther is a better way to set it up. Any info would be helpful

You will only be able to get a standing wave when the master pump is set into short pulse mode (blue) and then tuned for the resonant frequency. The slave pump should be in anti-sync mode since it is on the other side of the tank. I recommend you keep the pumps in the same position and switch modes to get a wave.
