Flow too high for anemone?

We got our first bubble tip anemone today. After placing it in the tank we noticed that the flow from the powerheads are whipping it fairly heavy. Tried to feed it a little and the powerheads just whip it away. We were going to move it to a lower current area but we found it had already attached itself inside a hole in the rock. I know an anemone will move on it's own if it's not happy, but will it move on it's own if the current is too strong? Or did I just answer my own question?? LOL

If not happy, it will certainly move. Mine seems to like to move around on the same rock, in and out of flow. Who know why. Kind of a funny animal.

Thanks for the replies everybody. Got up this morning and it hasn't moved. The lunar lights were on last night and I'm wondering if it would be more likely to move if the tank was totally dark overnight? It's gonna be a little hard for it to hang on to food if it stays where it's at. Maybe if it gets hungry enough it will move to go searching for food?

I turn my flow off when feeding my magnifica, condi, and sebae. Watch for theives as my six inch saddleback trys to steal form his sebae host and my large arrow head steals from my condi. I use the feeding tongs to keep them away. My magnifica is the only one I don't have to worry about and he hosts a mated pair of true percs. The flow is only off for about five minutes.

Well, the thought did cross my mind if it's happy where it's at, then there's not much I can do but turn off the flow just long enough to make sure it's eating. I guess we'll give it a couple more days and see what happens. Thanks for the replies everybody.
