Flow?

Was wondering, does flow make a difference in an sps tank? I have a 45 and am currently using 3 maxi jets (2-600's, and a 400), for flow. Is that enough flow or should I go with more? I have a couple of 900's kicking around. Should I replace with all 900's?

i dont think its enough.. i think u should replace them all with 900s at least..

Flow is very imporatant in an sps tank, or IMO in any reef tank for that matter. Here is a good read on the subject:

recommend a closed loop. Get the powerheads out and get more bang for your buck.

Ice Cap is coming out with a new vortec pump. I would recomend that.
