Flower Anemonaes in Nanos -- Help

Hey everybody.

I think I just scored a pair of very small Flower anemonaes for my 8 gallon BioCube. They were brought into the LFS store I frequent by another reefer who said they just sprouted up in his tank. He didn.t know what they were, and he gave them a few rock with them.

The guys didn't know what they were. I thought they might be some type of mushroom, ricordia. While I was dripping them I noticed the tentacles moving and figured they had to be anemonaes, so I lengthened the drip out to two hours.

When I put them in, being careful not to expose them to any air, they opened right up and WOW! They have a deep purple oral disc with bright green tentacles around the rim.

It seems happy. Actually, THEY seem happy. There was another smaller one on the rock that nobody ever saw. The larger is the size of a quarter and the smaller is a little smaller than a dime.

At this point, I'm just guessing what they are. I know they have to be some kind of anemone.

If they are Flower or Rock Anemonaes, can I keep them in my 8 gallon BioCUBE under 32 watts of PC light and about 12 times flow??

HELP. I'd really like to keep them. They are just too nice!!

If they are flower/rock anenomes, I think you should be able to keep them. From what I understand, they are very easy to keep. Try to look through the mushroom forum though, is it possible they are Ricordea? I ask because a lot of people used to confuse them when I worked at an LFS.
