Flower Pot Coral and Clownfish

I added a flower pot to my tank about 3 weeks ago and it is doing fine so far. However on tuesday my clown took a liking to it and is trying to host in it and now it is not opening up? Should I try to add an anenome to the tank or what are my options? The tank is stable enough for it and has been up since feb. of 08. I just havent wanted to add one due to the fact that they will move around the tank and sting other corals possibly.

You could try adding a bubble tip, but chances are, if the clown has already started to use the goniopora as a host, it may not take to the anemone. To discourage the clown from frolicking in the goniopora, get a plastic basket (like strawberries come in) and place it over the coral. Flow and light will still be available to the coral, but the clown can't get to it. Odds are once it can't use the coral, it's more likely to accept the anemone.

Good luck!
