flower pot coral.... impossible?

Today

Had this over 4 years, its gone through good health and bad has dropped half a dozen babies, i also have a small red with blue eyes going on 2 years, and a nice green with torquoise eyes for about six months. The funny thing is i pay them absolutly no attention at all dont feed them ever....,

I have one and I have it 3" from the bottom of my tankand they seem very happy, however I was told that they might no live after a year. My goal is to of course beat the odds...
