Flowerpots response to ferrous gluconate

I've seen a few posts where people have reported a positive response from flowerpot corals to iron supplements. I wanted to also report my observations thus far. I purchased what looks to me like a "Nuclear yellow-Green" goniopora polyformis flower pot frag in so-so health from a random frag tank at an LFS. This coral is placed in moderate to high lighting and moderate flow. This specimen has a tremendous response to addition of ferrous gluconate. A few minutes Uupon addition to the tank, the coral always opens and expands regardless if it is deflated and closed, has curled polyps just after feeding, or out collecting light. The specimens health appears to be improving day by day. I've been feeding the tank a droppers worth of R.O.E almost everyday and alternating between a 6th of a cube or so of clyclopeez, mysis, frozen brine, or 1 to 2 crushed flakes. My current water parameters are as far as I can measure:

Size: ~10 gallon
Nitrate 5 ppm
Phosphate 0.02 ppm
dkh ~10
Cal ~450
Ph ~ 8.2
