Fluconazole ?

My mobile vet swung by for a checkup on one of my dogs and I asked them if they happened to have any of the antifungal pills, they did and obliged me 700mg for treating a bryopsis outbreak but they are pinkish tablets instead of capsules. I have some fish flucon on order which are disolvable tabs and should be here tomorrow, I was wondering if anyone had ever crushed up the tabs and used them.

I did it crushed the pills with a pill crusher and let it sit in water for a day then dose it

Were thwy the pinkish oval pills? Did it still work to kill the algae? Any adverse reactions. Im very nervous about doing this process but i want the damn devil weed dead

Mine were pink round tabs. At first I crushed up the tabs, dissolved them in RO and then dosed (though they never fully dissolved IME), but then I got lazy and I'd just dose them by dropping the pills into a filter sock that I'd leave in the sump. No adverse reactions from anything except my Derbesia (the algae I was targeting) which all died out.
