Oviparous monogenes---
(i.e., Dactylogyridae) release eggs into the water column that hatch and mature prior to seeking a new host.

Viviparous monogenes---
(i.e., Gyrodactylidae) release live larvae that are immediately able to attach to the same host as the parent or be carried by the water to another host.

which of the two is Neobenedinia Sp. ? anyone?

Neobenedinia melleni is considered a Capsalid - they lay eggs. Thats why the FW dips alone won't resolve the problem - there are still likely eggs in the tank. Depending on environmental factors, the eggs can take up to three weeks to hatch.
