fluorescent mushroom

I was wondering if the green fluorescent mushroom is a good beginner coral, i have 175 watt mh, what is the level of light they need, water flow, do they need any supplements like iodine? thanks!

Shrooms are good corals to start out with as well as zoas. They don't require a large amount of lighting and do great even under PC lights. As long as you keep them in a medium flow area they will be fine. They pretty much feed themself so no need to add anything but if you want to keep more corals in the future, try to maintain a stable calcium level of 400-450ppms.
