Flush

Just set-up my 45 RR gal cube. The overflow is making a "flushing" sound. The water rises, then "flushes" through - any ideas on how to correct this? It's driving the wife crazy.

You need an air hole/syphon break on the top of your drain. Kind of like putting two holes in a Hawiian Punch can so that it pours easily. Also, if you have a sump, be sure that the drains are not submerged in the water. hth.

i had the same prob. if you need a visual of what was explained to you .....well you can always stop by and see what it should look like. if ya wanna stop bye, give me a call 512-5505

The durso came with the air hole on it. I do have the drain line submerged in the sump. Will play with that when I get home.
