Okay well I have talked myself back into the LEDs! haha I'm actually going to order the setup tonight but just wanted to throw it out to you guys first. I am gonna get the 24" Panorama Actinic Blue LED + the 24" Panorama Marine LED. What do you guys think about this?
Both are not worthy of my water...go with reef breeders or something like that at the very least I say. Par38s even. Panoramas can be bright to the eye but eh...and fluval? Who's fluval?
I'm sorry to disagree but these are proven facts in this hobby. A 4 bulb fixture with individual reflectors (even if they are contoured) is more than enough to grow anythinganywhere in a standard 20 gallon tank.
Well, of course making such a broad statement is highly suspect, and no such thing has been proven (either the statement about PCs vs. T5HOs or the one in quotes) but if it makes you feel better, you may certainly believe what you wish.

One good thing about your choice is that they're compact enough that you can add another if you decide you need more intensity or want to alter the spectrum.
But in my personal opinion, these are pretty expensive fixtures for what you're getting. The total would seem to be in the $400 range with shipping - wouldn't you rather have a fixture for about the same price or less that integrates the timer controls and allows you to alter the spectrum at will?
