When: Saturday, October 19th, 2013 from 9:30am to 4pm. The bus is leaving at 10am sharp. Some members will be meeting earlier for breakfast. Details will be posted in this thread.

Where: We will be meeting at an undisclosed location, which will be announced once your reserve your spot!

Cost: A small RSVP fee will be charged - $5 per person. If you have an individual membership, you are limited to just yourself. If you have a family membership, you are limited to 4.

How do I sign up: Please send an email with the subject line FMAS Tank Hop to gaylevelazquez@gmail.com to RSVP. Once I receive your email, I will respond back to you with the paypal information. As always, make sure you list all the member's names who will be attending and a good contact number you can be reached at.

The fine print: This is a members only event. You must be a valid 2013 FMAS member to attend. This event is limited to 25 members. We ask that family memberships limit themselves to no more than 4 members per family. FMAS will be covering transportation and we will be stopping for sandwiches at Subway along the way, which will be provided by FMAS.

FAQs:
Can I drive my own vehicle and follow the vans? Nope

Can I take photos of these tanks? Yes We encourage you to take pics.

Can I ask questions of the generous aquarist who have opened up their homes to us? Yes, with each aquarium you will get to see the display as well as the filtration system. The great thing about these tank hops is the opportunity to see how other people setup and maintain their systems.

But Gayle, I can't make it to the Tank Hop and would love to have my system shown at the next tank hop. How do I sign my tank up? Just send an email to gaylevelazquez@gmail.com and indicate your interest in having your tank shown at the next event. Please include the area where your tank is located (Miami Beach, Westchester, Weston, Hollywood, etc).

Please email gaylevelazquez@gmail.com with any questions. Please put FMAS Tank Hop in the subject line.

Sincerely,

Gayle Velazquez

Is it really from 8-4? What about lunch? I'll have a cranky wife and kid if they don't eat....ok it's me that will get cranky.

Yes Bill, Gayle will be sending out the response emails. It may take a couple of days for her to get all of them together in order to send out one response email. I sent an email also and even I have not received a response lol (no special treatment even for BOD members). So your good to go as long as you sent it. I'm sure if we had an overwhelming response in the first two days we would look at possibly adding another bus if it came to it. Just give her a little time and I'm sure your good to go.
