Jeff the actual meeting is only about 1 hour, the auction follows right after for another 1 hr or so. You don't need to stick around for the auction.

Hey i have a conch i might want to get rid of, can i submit it in the auction? is there a time i have to be there by to submit things for auction? I really want to trade for a frag of xenia or something nice but might be willing to auction it. I dont think he has enough room in my tanks... but i've had it forever. Any suggestions?

I arrived kind of late but really enjoyed the lecture, and love the auction idea, if whoever got my conch is on here and has any questions give me a shout, he just got too big for my tank and i was more than happy to share the proceeds with the club. I'm sure you will find him very entertaining. Next time i'll have to arrive earlier to take more part in bidding. Thanks for a great first experience and i'll see you next month, unfotunatly WPB is a little out of my range.

Intersting talk Julian had on algae. He ID'd a brown macro algae that grows on several of my rocks. Fortuantely, it's not too aggressive...
