Do what works for you. If I ran my alk as high as Eddie I'd nuke my tank. You can run it between 6.5 and 12 and make it work as long as it's stable. If you are carbon dosing or using a bacterial driven system you'll want it lower. The actual number doesn't matter as much as keeping it stable...

I shoot for 9dkh, BUT I agree with Rovster 100%. all tanks are different.

What about selling/auctioning those frags off and getting a bigger coral? I also have some corals.


RM Blueberry Plum Pie
This one I have the most of and can make a lot of frags about the same size. The 2 corals in this pic is the same. One was in a different place in the tank. This pic is just a fraction of what I have.
