FMAS member in the photo contest

There is a photo contest going on now, you can find the thread on the top of the of the forum threads, Our own Jeffbriggs has at least two pictures that in my opinion are truly among the top 3 in the bunch.
The pics I am referring are 17 & 27, I personally had a hard time deciding which one to pick and decided that 27 was my favorite.

27 was ballin! We're only 4 votes behind what I would imagine was the submission from the Co. club

Yeah, the Colorado club went asking all their members to vote for their picture, I guess we can do the same and show them our club strength!

It was a tough decision, but I finally voted.
The top three in my opinion were #9, Christy's #17, and Jeff's #27... but not necessarily in that order.
Looks like in the last couple of hours Jeff's is catching up to Christy's...
Either will be a well deserved win IMHO.

Heck, if we didn't have two members in the contest splitting votes, Jeff or Christy would have over a hundred votes at this point. lol

Rogger, I appreciate the support, but I don't ask that anyone vote for my image just because it's mine. I think Christy would feel the same about hers. Vote for the one you think is best to represent RC in the 2008 calendar. If that happens to be mine, that's great. If it's someone else's, that's great too.

There's been way too much arguing (and one thread closed) over people campaigning for votes. As much as I didn't like seeing the guy from Colorado solicit votes, I don't want to be accused of doing the same. Bottom line, if my photo wins, I'd like it to be based on its own merit. So, I'm encouraging as many people as possible to vote, and hopefully everyone will get a fair shake.

I personally think Jeff's shot is awesome, although I have a tendency to like the zoos in our tank and these are my absolute favorite, which is why I chose them as the subject of my photo

Jeff is right, everyone should vote for what they think is best, it shouldn't matter whose pic it is. I think there are quite a few impressive shots this month, and we both just want to see a legitimate outcome to the competition. But I really appreciate all of your kind words on both my pic and Jeff's.
