Topic:
Jake's topic is on LED aquarium lighting. Jake has years and years of examining and testing various LED systems and this topic will make sense of all the different LED systems out there. Jake describes this presentation as anything but a "œlightweight fluffy" presentation and grab a chair and a beverage. :beer:

Bio:
Jake Adams is a professional marine aquarist from Colorado. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Marine Science and he has worked with spawning corals in Puerto Rico.

Jake is the founder of Coralidea.com, and he is the senior editor of a popular reef aquarium blog. He has consulted on the design and installation of large reef tanks, retail stores and research tanks and when he isn't speaking to reef clubs or writing for marine aquarium publications, Jake also likes to work with new-school freshwater planted aquaria.

Jake has been a speaker at such international forums such as MACNA, SWU, IMAC, among others

Anybody want to car pool from downtown Miami? I will chip in for gas. I am by the new marlin stadium. I do not want to miss this meeting as I am planning on building my own LED fixture.

I am so glad to hear the hammer is doing well. My colony is growing like a weed. It's really unbelievable. It must have 20 heads on it and I'll need to thin it out soon so it doesn't get to big. If only my Red Planet would take off like that:)
 
I hope all you guys are ready to hear about LEDs. This is one of the most requested topics we've had for a meeting.
