Fmas poker run 2015 details

Our annual Poke Run has always been very successful, although this is only our second one...:lolspin:

This years Poker Run will be in the Miami area.

Rules are very simple. We have 5 stores to visit. At each store you will get a playing card from one of our BOD members. At the last store we will hand out prizes for the best poker hands (we expect approx $500 worth of prizes). BOD members will only be at the stores as we visit one from the next. In other words we start off at store number one and inform you when we will be at store number 2 .....At store number 2 we will let you know when we will be at store number 3.....etcc.etc.. :lolspin::celeb3:

First store will be Aquarium Kingdom, 14241 South Dixie Highway, Palmetto Bay, Fl, 33176, at 10AM where they are having a frag swap with a bunch of current local aquaculturists. We will be there until 11:30AM and announce the next store at that time. :crazy1::bounce3:

Jimbo- Im not as computer map knowledgeable as the last person that organized the event. But basically we will start at Aquarium Kingdom as stated above and visit 4 other stores. All stores have promised increase stock and discounts. i have no problem divulging the stores. They go as follows in order of visit:

Aquarium Kingdom: 14241 South Dixie Highway, Palmetto Bay, Fl 33176
VIP Reef: 16300 SW 137th Ave #110, Miami, FL 33177
Strictly Fish: 8373 SW 40th St, Miami, FL 33155
Exotic Aquariums: 7399 Bird Rd, Miami, FL 33155
Oceans View: 6883 SW 40th St, Miami, FL 33155


We will be spending time at each store and then lay out the prizes at the last store. Many have stated they will have food and beverages for us.

Thanks. One other question, is there any idea what time it will end ? Ball park? Trying to fit in other weekend commitments

Also as an Fyi to the people coming from up north. All of the last 3 stores have limited parking especially exotic and Oceanview. It will probably be better to park on the other side of bird rd and walk across.

Jimbo- Its hard to say. As you see, although first stop is starting at 10am, all other stores open up much later, so we have to start with that. Next visit after first stop is VIP, they dont open till 12 noon.. I figure 45 minutes at each store then 15-20 minutes travel time in between. Until we get to Bird Road, Then its 10-15 minutes travel time.

BTW- thanks for the parking advise. We have been worried about that, but not much we can do about it.

I was just informed by exotic's owner that you can park at the hertz next door when visiting exotic.

If we happen to be late to the first store, if we get there before you head to the second store, do we still get a card? If not does this mean we can't participate in the poker run?
