I am pleased to announce that Florida Marine Aquarium Society is having Our FMAS Frag Swap Meet Sponsored by Eco Reef Aquarium (2740 E Atlantic Blvd, Pompano Beach, FL) at the Old Davie School (6650 Griffin Road, Davie, FL) on February 11th from noon to 5pm. At this event you may buy, sell, and/or trade livestock and equipment. The cost of admission is $15. With this fee you will receive a FMAS club membership for the rest of 2007. Tables to buy, sell and/or trade are available free to club members at the Old Davie School but you must email Matt Tindall (matt@tindallgrowers.com) ahead of time to reserve. Table sponsorships are available for $75. This sponsorship entitles you to advertise and/or sell from your table as you wish. Table sponsors may placec a sign or banner on their table. If you are interested in being a table sponsor you may contact Matt Tindall. Please feel free to post any questions you have here as well as frags you plan to bring. It sounds interesting! Having a 20L really limits your coral keeping spectrum. It dont help that two powerheads, a skimmer surface skimmer box, and a bit more live rock than wanted is also in there. Sometimes I wish my live rock was more than just 3 peices...

Corey, Tank full of rock ......Frags and glue is all you need.

Who is in charge of this motly crew and where are our membership cards? :)

Greg I can reprint your card for 10 bucks. PM me for my paypal addy! :-P

I am trying to talk Jenna in to letting my use the75 for more coral, but she wants dwarf angels..

The dwarf angles are hit or miss with corals, I have had a few that were great in my reef ......only had one that had to go.

Which was that? We use to have a flame and it looked like it would always nip at the capnella, but never actually get any..

They are still angles and will always nip at the rock and every thing else, when they find that they like the taste of corals then they gotta go.

Brian has a few that are doing fine in his tanks so you might give one of those a try.

Guess we're going to have to make up cards for all the paid up members  .

Any computer gurus want to post a link to a card we can download and print ?

Do we have a logo? That would be a good place to start.

We don't even have a list of members. Half the emails are invalid and the other half we don't know the real names. Scott is going to have to buckle down  .

BTW, I'm officially announcing a Logo contest.

AGU

OOO Those emails that do not go thru have been eliminated. Verizon is a pain and bad emails made things really bad. But actually I send out emails to approx 50 names each meeting, so you can see how many actually come.
Heck we had a website for awhile but I doubt it is still up...
I can provide a pretty good list of members with most of the first and last names...

I posted in the official membership card forum some ides...

Now lets get working on it everyone else....

You can paypal your membership dues to me....
That will be $1,000,000.00.. :D
I believe we can have cards, but I vote for no dues........I like our laid back approach to the club.

Guess I better pay up my dues! Sorry we missed the last meeting, and we were planning too. We went diving that day and the next. It was 100' vis offshore. Flat calm but 67 degree water. Steve.

Greg,
take some pics of the new stuff you get. also, let me know if you need any help clearing out some room in your tank..I may have a few empty spaces in my tank to store stuff for you..
