Foam escaping from skimmer!

Hello,

I've purchased a 3130/2 skimmer 3 months ago and It does it job nicely.
But now that I have fishes in my tank, there is more junk (which is normal of course) but the foam is getting inside the tank!
There are four holes to fix the lid on the foam cup and the foam is just getting through them and fall in my tank!
Is there any solution to this problem?

Wipe a thin film of vegetable oil around the inside of the lid near the vents, this will repell the foam.

Up to about 5 years ago we included a small bottle with a wick specifically for this purpose, it wasn't used much and we got to many questions about what is this for so we quit adding it but the old manuals always mentioned this trick.
