so when you mount a frag on teh back do you just push it into the foam or would that be a no no? gluing like a LR better?

The wall with all the epoxy and gravel is actually pretty hard, I have never tried to just push a frag plug into it.

I use either IC-Gel or Deltec Aqua Scape Epoxy to attach them.

I notice you have 2 tanks under there... One a refugium right?

The other one is exactly what? I guess it's the 30 high I'm asking about??

The tank on the left has the Skimmer and also live rock in a chamber.

I run 2 Reeflo Darts, powerful, quiet and energy efficient, they are my favorite pumps.

Way back on page 3 you said you siliconed the panels in. Did you do a complete seal around the perimeter of the panels or across the backs of them? Any trouble since with debris (maybe fish) getting behind the panels?

We just put globs here and there and then as you can see on the picture, we wedged wood and pipe to get it as close to the back glass as possible.

I have no idea what's going on back there.....

The only place I had a problem was infront of the left overflow, there was a gap and my female rhomboid wrasse went into hiding behind the wall. We got her out but she just did not want to be in the tank with the male, so she jumped into the overflow a few days later and travelled into the fuge. We let her be and that's where she lives now with the Banggaii babys.

Absolutely beautiful!! I'm planning a trip down to key largo in march, went to key west last year. Went diving on the western sambo... what area were those pictures you took from? Tried diving on the sponge gardens, but visibility was only 2 feet... Is it normally really nice? How's your swissguard doing? I love those little guys!

Thanks Ryan. We usually dive off Big Pine Key, now it's really bad but in the summer time you should have good vis.
Swissi is in fishey heaven but the Swalesi is doing great.

thats an amazing tank I wish i had the time and patients to do something like that and let it grow to some as beautiful as your tank is!
