I would love to do this for my 360 which is empty now so its a great time to rock and foam the sides and back wall- however a quick question?
Are you planning to have water flow behind the wall or silicone it flush to the glass/acrylic? My concern would be all the growth and bad stuff that will grow behind the egg create.

Hi dennis.. Im still not sure what im going to do yet, I plan on sanding the backs of the eggcrate and filling in the empty spots with more foam then sanding it flush again. The reason for this is so the eggcrate is just as flush and flat as the glass then i will use more then enough silicone to hopefully keep it water tight as much as possible.
