Do you like Phil Collins?
I have had this green frogspawn for about 9 months now and its always been very healthy with good extention ont he polyps but lately it has been drawn up and it is splitting into about 4 heads from just this one.

?Question is, is it normal for them not to expend there polyps while branching off?

I have lots of frogspawn splitting in my 180 - never notice any difference when splitting.

Do you ever feed the coral at all? If not, you may wist to target feed some finely chopped meaty food (or frozen brine/mysis).

Yea we do feed it often i just don't know what could be causing it my ca and alk are good water temp is fine, i have noticed that all of my lps's just are not looking as good as they used to. Any sugestions!!

any sarcophytans (softies) up stream of the corals?? Mine were terrible until i got rid of my devils hand, that was only in a 20gal though

good luck!!

I do have a HUGE toadstool in there but it is on the other side of the tank. Its doing better but not 100% All the other lps in there look great

you should probably run some carbon...it may help. Especially with the toadstool, you would be surprised.

My frogspawn is/has been doing a similar thing. It was two headed, one head has almost completed a split and the other is in the middle of splitting into 3 it appears. It has started looking more full the past couple days, but not yet back to normal. I know of other people that have had their frogspawn not look that great while splitting, so I have to think it's a somewhat common occurrence.
