Food Auto Feeders

The more I learn about aquariums, it seems that the recurring theme is to make sure the water, light ect... and the feedings are consistent each and every day. I have a very hectic job and sometimes I'm not home till really late. I also go on biz trips quite a bit. When I get home, my fish are knocking on the glass with their plate and fork in hand. I already installed an auto top off system so my salinity is constant, but I wanted to get everyone's thoughts on using/installing an automatic feeder. I feed both dry and frozen, but I could always just have the auto feeder dispense dry, then as a treat, I could feed frozen whenever. Has anyone had an auto feeder installed?

unless you leave for a week or so on end, autofeeders are not needed. they are hard to get working right and to control the ammount of food fed and 1 time. fish are gutloaders, and will continue eating even if their bellies are full. they will just pass the undigested food through their body which is unhealthy for the fish. every other day feedings is all thats needed, unless you have very demanding fish like anthias
