food cubes

I'm trying to size my filtration system based on how many cubes I'll be feeding daily.
the question is, how much and what does a cube feed?

Don't think there is a good answer for that. Depends on what you are feeding for the most part. Some fish eat a lot some don't. By filtration system do you mean algae scrubber? What size tank do you have, what fish?

If it helps..
I have
1 scopas tang
2 oce. Clowns
2 banggai
2 scooter blennys (rairly eat frozen)
2 baby manderins (don't eat frozen)
1 watchman golby
1 long nose hawk fish

I feed "San Francisco Bay" saltwater multi pack..

1 row of cubes..4 flavors.. lasts me 5 or 6 days

I take a little out of each every day to feed the fish. Clean up crew snags the rest..

I'm sure I over feed though.. but my fish are fat and happy

It's a 150 Tall
55 gallon sump
Unsure of total system gallons yet.
I'm in build mode. Tank is going in the wall day after Christmas.
Yes to the algae scrubber. Trying to size that and they size by cubes fed.
So let's say tank is predominately softies, with a few lps and sps
long term.
4-5 anthias
Pair of lamarks
Pair of pyramids
Maybe 1/2 dozen other small fish.

I feed nine different fish with a cube a day.
Two clowns
Coral beauty
3 pj cardinals
File fish
Leopard wrasse
Star night goby

Depends on your fish and what you want. For the fish list in my signature I feed 1 large romaine lettuce leaf, 1/2 sheet nori, about 2 grams pellets and 3 cubes (9 grams) home made frozen, daily. Yup daily. Creates a lot of fish poop and the corals love. It does require a lot of nutrient export though. I have a skimmer, ATS and dose carbon.

I've been fighting gha since day one... finally got it whipped.. then had cyano... made the mistake of using chemiclean...within days... gha took over again...

Finally beginning to win the battle again...

And just added an ats... hopefully that will be the winning ticket for winning the war!!

what do you feed them in the auto feeder and frozen?

Just curious.

I also feed frozen and my feeder spins twice a day also. I also feed a 3 x 3 piece of Nori everyday. On weekends they may get anywhere from 2 cubes of frozen along with pellets or flakes.
