I agree with not feeding most soft corals. As far as I know there's no evidence that they feed on phytoplankton, so I wouldn't add that to the tank just for that purpose. I defintitely wouldn't add any of that marine snow in a bottle. If you want to know why, Google Marine Snow. In nature, it's mostly dead phytoplankton and fish poop. Some soft corals, like certain zoanthids and mushrooms can in fact be spot fed, but if you just give them good light, they'll be happy. As for the LPS (hammer and candy cane), Skeptic's suggestions are good ones. They'll eat just about anything meaty that's the appropriate size. I always had a hard time spot feeding my hammer coral, but that may have just been me.
