Food for sexy shrimp

Hi,
I am stocking my 41g reef with sexy shrimp. The first pair went in today. I plan on housing about 10 total with one or two small peaceful fish, maybe a mated clown pair.

How much does one of these little guys eat daily, and what's the best food? I have kept shrimp in the past with great success just want to make sure I got all the bases :smurf:covered for theses little guys.

Like most of the small reef shrimp that make it to our LFS, sexy shrimp are scavengers and will eat whatever small bits aren't consumed by your fish. However, since you've got the shrimp first, you'll want to feed them a small amount of meaty food. I think the "best" food for ornamental shrimp is something like Rod's Food--a puree of many protein sources, although nothing so fancy is necessary. They're surprisingly resilient and don't require much coddling. You can feed two sexy shrimp with the amount of food that would cover half of a toddler's pinky fingernail. It doesn't take much.

I appreciate this info as well, I acquired one of these a few weeks ago. I have been putting a little extra brine shrimp in there, I amy go pick up some Rod's so that the little guy can feast.
