Does anyone have or know where I can grab a blue or white 55 gallon drum on LI? I tried my local car wash but they actually refused to sell me one which I thought was weird. Maybe because the owner wasn't there. Who knows. I'm in the Huntington / Melville area.

Hardware store on sunrise Hwy in copiage east side next to Home Depot. Forgot the name

James are those new or used?

That's Trade Fair Hardware and they sell new, second quality products made by a Long Island Company named Chem-Tainer and they're located a block or two north of Sunrise Hwy in like, Deer Park, IIRC. Neptune Ave or Blvd.....
For what you pay Trade Fair for a lumpy, second quality barrel/tub, you can get 1st quality right from the manufacturer.

Just to give you another option, I was looking for a container a while back and found them to be super expensive for new, I didnt trust used. Anyway, I wound up going with a 90 gallon industrial garbage can found in Lowes. Its about 89 bucks. I have two, they both hold water safely. They have nice tops also. Good luck in your search.

Super market like bravo look in bentwood or islip. I found them in a Far rockaway store.Seem like Jamaican people ship clothes and food home in them

I found a guy through eBay in Hempstead that sells 55s for 10 bucks. It says it contained flaxseed oil. Will this be a problem cleaning out?

I get my 55 galllon drums from boatyards after the fall season is done.
You ask for drums that have only had "the pink" in them.
It's a food grade antifreeze used in the fresh water system on boats.
Take it home, cut off the top, rinse it out.
It's what I use for a fill/ storage tank for my RO system.
