Food stuck in fishes lip.

My clown fish has a piece of pellet food stuck between his lower lip and his teeth (almost like he has a dip in). He as had it for 2 days now and as of today he is not eating. What should i do. Let nature play its cores and hope it dissolves or possible watch him starve to death. Or is there any way i can catch him and remove it?

If this is food, it would have dissolved by now. If it is food, and stays long enough to starve him to death; the food is REALLY old. Fish can go a long time without eating. If this were my fish: I'd catch him and remove whatever it is, assuming it isn't growing on the fish---and I suspect it is. A fish should be able to dislodge any food, substrate, or other foreign material.
