Uh AU is paying two offensive coorinators contract right now they fired.
So your saying AU's offensive coaches have more powere than tubb's to fire franklin? Not good.

Are you anti-Auburn, or just anti-Tubs ?

Obviously recruiting is hurting, as it would any team. next season we're suppose to be getting some Qb that was ranked # in the natino in highschool, but he was probably coming for the spread, so I don't know what will happen there.
Heated? That's not what I read or heard. What happened was the offensive coaches, and probably Lauder, force Tubbs to fire him. Tubbs don't think Tubbs wanted to fire Franklin, although I agree he should have been fired. i mean seriously, when you put Todd in over Burns, that's just not good coaching. That's playing favorites, which really effected the feeling of the team because everyone knew that's what was happening.
Oh c'mon, you can't compare Tubb's house to Saban's contract salary, not even close Plus, still paying off the other coaches that were fired. Imagine all the crap that you could clean up in T-Town with that money.
That TX v TxT was one awesome game. Too bad TX lost....

I'm not sure where you got those statistics. "On January 3, 2007, Alabama signed former LSU and Miami Dolphins coach Nick Saban to a reported 8 year, $32 million contract, making him the highest paid college football coach at the time." + 700k to 800k bowl game bonus per year. And, don't forget Mike Sula at $5.4 million.
$32 mil compared to $21 mil over 8 years? Please....
Not getting our money's worth?
2002 Alabama 7 Auburn 17
2003 Alabama 23 Auburn 28
2004 Alabama 13 Auburn 21 -> undefeated
2005 Alabama 18 Auburn 28
2006 Alabama 15 Auburn 22
2007 Alabama 10 Auburn 17
Tubb's record: 80-33
That's not too bad at all...
No, they don't have more power than him. I don't know where you got that, because it's not at all what I'm saying. Seems like everyone disliking the OC can really throw a wrench in the gears. I guess Tubs thought it was enough to fire him. Tubs wasn't born yesterday. He has a decent history of knowing what to do and when to do it.

Kody Burns is a beast. I have no idea why they aren't utilizing him like they did in the 4th quarter this weekend. 158 rushing yards, average of 12.2 per carry. Crazy.
Caudle looks like he's got talent. Very calm in the pocket, and very smart. Smith has a lot of potentially, too. I'd say he's better than Lester already.
I just hope AU doesn't look completely retarded against Georgia like they did the first half against UTM...
Wasn't Auburn preseason top 10? What the hell happened?[/I]
Umm... Why don't you read that above paragraph. I'm pretty sure I was explaining what happened...
Yea, I didn't take into the account UA wasn't on probation for some of those years. Mainly because THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH LOSING TO AUBURN. Hey, I put it in caps for you, too. Just sound it out, you'll get it.
That's true mercuryxs, but the kid has talent. UTM tackling really wasn't that bad, and he was able to break more tackles per carry than Lester. I was referring more to the fact that AU found something that worked, and actually used it. Not as much of that 'Run on 1st, get 2 yards, pass on 2nd, INC' and get in the 3rd and 8 they are so famous at this year...
What Tubs NEEDS to do it get a new offensive staff. And I mean the entire staff. Someone who can recruit well.
