HI roger,
I recently purchased a Tunze Turbelle Stream kit 24000lph, everthing is working fine except the foodtimer. I push the button and the pumps continue to operate. Any ideas what the problem may be?

Sounds like the foodtimer button is shorted- it is a simple momentary switch. If you send it to me I will get it repaired within 24hrs.

Well, you should contact your dealer and see if they can help. If you feel technically capable of doing the repair it is fairly simple though the multicontroller is a bear to open and close. You will want to undo the four small phillips screws on the back and then pry off each knob with a slotted screwdriver- heres a tip turn all knobs all the way in the same direction and remember that direction- it makes reinstalling the knobs much easier. Then lift the cover off. The foodtimer button can be pulled up on and removed. If you have an ohm meter you can check if it is functional. If it isn't try to find a new switch locally they are very cheap. If it does work but you still get no multicontroller function make sure the solder joints are good. If this is good it needs to be exchanged and usually Tunze will send the dealer a complete new circuit board to install in the housing. Lining up the LED's for reassembly is tricky so be patient when you put it back together.
