Footprint: 6100 vs 6101 vs 6105

Roger, I have a 6100. It has the pump, plus the black box (driver) plus the little silver box (not sure what it is, maybe a power supply?). It works great.

I do have a question: can you tell me the differences with the newer 6101 and 6105? Do they have the same 3 piece footprint? Thank you...

The silver box is the driver, the black hockey puck is just a transformer. The 6101 pump is physically the same but with no driver and a smaller laptop style power supply. In place of the driver is a small junction block that is about 1" cubed. The 6105 has the same power supply and junction block as the 6101 but the pump is smaller, including mounting hardware it sticks out about 1" less from the wall of the tank and is about 1/2" smaller in width and height.

No, the 6100 used low voltage AC, the new ones are DC and the power supplies are incompatible.
