I think Brad Johnson was a decent QB but way to conservative to give us a real Super Bowl chance every year the way the greats do.
I also like the idea of Gaines Adams but Rookie D lineman have traditionally struggled their first year. I mean look at Mario Williams from last year. He did make some good plays in Fridays preseason game though. The pass rush should be much improved this year with the addition of Adams and Kevin Carter.
There is also still a possiblity that Rice comes back if he doesn't get the big check he was expecting. I know they said it was becuase of a failed physical but the real reason is he sisn't want to take a pay cut and the Bucs didn't think he was worth $7 M toward the cap.
