Ok i just want to kno what do you guys do when ur carpet grabs a hold of you. My finger touched my haddoni and i quickly moved it and it was very sticky. So would should i do if i was cleaning my tank and my hand gets stuck on the carpet? Should i wait and it should let go? All help appreciated.

I my case I try to get unstuck as quickly but gently as possible. The back of my hand has become pretty sensitive over the years and I get a nasty rash. I have never had much success with the wait and it will let go technique.

Prevention is the best policy. I wave my hand over/near my haddoni before I work around it so it will retract a little and not be so easy to come in contact with.

You should never rip your hand away. It can tear the carpet. Slowly pull away fron him and he will let go.

Yea, it happened to me often. I agree with what Phil said too.

Also if you are going to be in your tank for a long time, at once, and/or need to move the haddonii, I would suggest getting some gloves. When I had to remove mine (( while redoing the tank )) I found a latex glove helped a great deal. It still stuck to it somewhat, but nearly as much as it did without the glove.

Ok thanks. I did try using the bags that i get fish in. And it didnt stick to it. So i might go buy myself some aquarium gloves when i get some money.

It wasnt my carpet but i was looking after a friends tank while he was away and my hand caught the carpet i left it on there for bout 2 mins and it eventually let go
