How the heck do you take the pump covers off these pumps?? Specifically the 6095. I have been messing with this thing for 15 minutes already.Thing stopped working and I am trying to get it back working.

By the book, they suggest squeezing the front end in side to side and pulling forward. It works but it is hard to do on a wet algae covered slippery pump. My way, crack it like an egg, just tap toward the front of the seam where the two halves meet on the edge of a countertop and it should open right up.
