Thanks for the kind words. I AM glad you take your job seriously as far as your responsibilities to your customers. BTW, that crack I made about everyone has to work somewhere, just joking.
I first started an SW tank about 1985. Frankly, it was a nightmarish money pit of an ecological disaster. There were a few decent books out, but that was the only source of info for home SW aquaria in my area. Most everything was trial and error learning, the errors being costly and root causes mostly unknown. Most people I knew were like me, they tried for a year or two and then got sick of the frustration.
20 years later, and there are amazing knowledge resources such as the people within this forum. Answers to almost any question are at the newbies fingertips (sometimes a half dozen contradictory answers ). I feel comfortable saying that, with the help of the experts here, even the freshest of newbs could set up a wonderful SW tank.
I love the community here and the ability to share knowledge almost instantly. I hope to contribute some of my own eventually, but for now I'm just trying to soak up as much as possible. So a hearty "Thank you!" to the reefer vets around here. Your efforts have re-kindled my desire for a reef tank and lightened my wallet by an obscene amount.
Obscene amount, that's hilarious. You guys didn't know we get paid for every link to a vendor? Uh Oh, I probably just let the cat outta the bag. Gotta Go!!
