Hi Roger,
I have been trying to get my hands on two of the new 6105's and had less than straight answers from two different vendors. (One is a sponsor) I was wondering if I can get the real answer from you. Both of these vendors over the past 8 days have said that these are available for shipping out right away, but after placing an order with each of them, the product suddenly is not available. The first told me that they were promised 12 and only received four. The second told me that they were expected in last week but have not received any. Am I wasting my time trying to get something that just isn't available right now, or are these vendors being honest that they will be getting them any minute? Could you please enlighten me as to what the real deal is?

We work off of what we are told, that goes for me as well as the dealers. I was told that I could expect about 20 6105's per week. The driver board that is inside the pump is not in full scale production, it is a surface mount board made by a small German electronics company and the first 500 are made in small batches and individually tested to be sure that every thing is in order before they enter full scale production. We have received 52 pumps to date, some weeks we get nothing some weeks we get 20 and other weeks just a few. I think a vendor may have been confused when I said I am getting 12 this week and took that to mean they were getting 12. They are far from readily available and it will likely be this way for the remainder of the year we need at least 60 to catch up with backorders at this point. If you placed an order today you will likely get them by the end of the year but if you wait for them to be in stock somewhere it is not likely you will get one soon. I don't expect that they will be a readily available stock item until next Spring. The quality control has been extreme to avoid the sort of mistakes we had last year and it has paid off, world wide we have not had a single Stream 2 with a motor defect of any model but it is slowing down production, once we know all the potential production issues and have every one solved production will speed up.

Thanks so much, Roger, for your explanation. I feel much better getting it straight from someone who knows. I don't mind waiting at all, it was just that I was being led to believe by these vendors, whether on purpose, or mistake, that I would see one any minute.
