For Sale: Coralife Aqualight Advanced 150W MH Clamp on

hmm, this might work very well on my 10g nano tank at work. I just wonder how much it would heat up the water because I cannot need a chiller.

ozzman:

The cool thing about the lamp is you can adjust height with no issues, and you can flip the arm if desired - already altered.

Dragonfish:

Not at this time - I'm actually looking to purchase a totally different light.

Ozzman,

a 20g - plenty of light for SPS.

Given some of the design of what I'm doing with the tank, I may use the original tank's light to accomodate the skimmer, so I need to spend more money for a different light...

dammit man! you are making this very tempting. how much do you think it would evaporate on a 10g nano? I can't have it evap too much because I won't be there to fill it up over the weekends.

I've got a 10 at the office with a 28w PC light, and it almost evaps a gallon over a long weekend. It will probably be quite a bit with a 150 over it, but you could just set up a simple battery powered auto top off.

Wow!
That's a ton of evap!
I have a 4.4G at the office, and if I evap a quarter gallon over the weekend, that's a ton...usually a lot less

When I had a 10g at work, I made a simple auto top-off. Needed a float switch, 1g bucket, small pump an some tubing.

glb, how often and where in the city do you go? i live near the post office and work in the loop.

glb, let me see how i can mount it on my tank. if i figure out a way, i will take it. i have a 10 gallon, but i have a penguin 350 that takes up the entire back of the tank.
