For Sale: Nano Tanks

Time to downsize but just a little bit. With the 220 SPS reef, the 58 Anemone, and the 24 Softy reef tank I need to thin the herd. I am selling our two Nano tanks.

The first is my wife's 2 Gallon Nano. She kept a variety of soft corals such as zoos, green star polyps and Xenia.

It is built from a Marineland Eclipse 2 that I mounted a 13 watt Compact Fluorescent light from Hellolights.com into.

It has a 50/50 Actinic 03/10,000 K bulb in it that is approx 6 months old. No pumps or heaters are included.

Asking $25 obo.


Next is my 6 Gallon Nano. I also kept soft corals very well in this tank.

It is built from a Marineland Eclipse 6 that I mounted a 2 X 28 watt Compact Fluorescent light from Hellolights.com into.

It has a one 50/50 Actinic 03/10,000 K bulb and one 10,000K bulb that are approx 6 months old. No pumps or heaters are included.

Asking $50 obo.

Very good deal...this was my 3-gal eclipse modified w/ a 13 wt PC.

The corals did really well and kept their color.

What is the best way to mount a PC into an eclipse hood? I have a 15 gallon I really want to make reef. I am also not very handy so any guidance would be great

I used rivots. Both tanks are still available. One person called and said they were going to buy both but never showed up.
