For those who have the money...

The place is bogus, try it and you'll see what I mean. Ask Bill "mevstheworld", he didn't believe me until he tried it :).

I just got a piece from there yesterday. It was a little smaller than advertised and I'm pretty sure it's not the pictures item. It's still a nice piece for the price though. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Yeah, that place/person uses bogus tactics, if said item has not hit some hidden reserve. Big debate on reef 2 reef. IMO:strooper:

Nah there stuff is legit (at least in my experience it has been). It doesn't take a genius to know that they aren't running 10k's, and if you are, the coral is not going to look the same in your tank. Depending on the auction, the prices can actually be extremely good for the size coral you're getting. I think it's a great way for us "non-commercial" guys to get close to wholesale prices.

Also, if you've ever seen nice Scoly's in person, you know they can pop downright dirty colors under the right lighting.

But then again that's just my .02, and the going rate for that varies. ;)

I have an acan colony that I got from them and it looks fantastic!!! Their packaging was not top notch, but the coral was. That was my experience for what it is worth to anyone... - Phil

Seriuosly though as I am kind of new to reefing..do some corals actually have THAT much color definition..it just seems unreal?
