Forcing a host?

I have a pair of false percs and I was hoping they would host in my carpet anemone. Is there a way to get them to notice it and maybe host in it?
I read the faq, and it says that percs can host in a carpet anemone.

IME any clown will be HOSTED BY any hosting anemone. You shouldn't for them to host a carpet. If you try to force them to, the carpet will 100% most definitely eat them.

What type of "carpet" ?

My percs took to a Haddoni right away -- didn't even have the Haddoni all the way in the tank before they were being hosted.

However, it is a bad idea to force any clown to be hosted, more so when "carpets" are involved.

+1 dont force. My haddoni ate a small maroon clown that was chased into it.

It took my clown over a year before it would host in my anemone but once he started he won't come out except to eat.

It looks like a Haddoni to me -- which are sand dwelling anemones, do you have a sandbed?

There are 3 types of hosting "carpet" anemones; S. mertensii, S. gigantea, and S. haddoni.

Put him in the tank, and he attached to rock work. Should I move him to the sand bed or let him do it naturally.

If it is attached I wouldn't move it -- too much of a risk of causing damage to it. But, don't be too surprised if it ends up moving.
