Formalin and LR LS

Does LR and LS soak up formalin?

I know most people will suggest cupramine over formalin and always treat in QT, but my LFS been using formalin treating crypto with good results (but his fish system is bio-ball only) so I'd like to give it a try.

I am going to get Kordan Formalin-3.

It will soak it up some, yes, just like copper. It also will kill off all life in your live rock, so dont do it unless absolutely necessary.
