Formalin urgent help

Hi im from the uk and i only can get 36% formalin from my lfs i know the norm is 37% but will this be ok?

1% is within the standard accuracy range.

In fact, any formalin solution above 10% or even 5% should work as long as you adjust the dosage.

Malachite Green may help a little, but is not really effective. It is somewhat effective against freshwater ich.
I would go with formalin only and not mix it with other medications.

Thanks, ive treated this evening with the malachite green. I will get some formalin tomorrow. I used it as a bath for 45 mins and then put my fish into another qt with fresh saltwater. How long should i now wait before treating with formalin and how many treatmeants?
