Fort desoto collection trip?

Just gauging interest here really. Who would be interested in a trip to fort desoto beach for some collection? Maybe next weekend or something? I mean I'm available tomorrow but I feel that it will be too short of notice. Let me know what you guys think.
 
Alright we will plan for next weekend. Whoever can go please post how many and what time and day will be good for you. I'm thinking Sunday around noon. But it's up to everyone. Ill check the weather and see if it will be nice.

Dang I forgot about that. Well whoever isn't going to mosi can still go Saturday. Or we could postpone to the weekend after next.
 
Lots of stuff including hermits,pipefish,snails,filefish, blennys, gobies,Seahorses,wrasses I've seen local featherdusters too.
I usually go to the Skyway Causeway just before the main bridge. but same area.
I'd like to go, so keep this thread going with info of exactly where and when, be good to meet some fellow posters.
 
Yeah I even got a brittle starfish last time I went. I just have a small bet I run trough the grass. I got a wicked nice blenney last time too. Hermit crabs galore there too lol. Saw a Boxfish last time too. Rustafar are you going to mosi? If not we could go this Saturday.
 
No MOSI for me. Sat might be a go. I'll let you know.we should try to get more people involved. It's a great time out there. but if nobody can go, we will. Remember I live in the booneys up here in Weeki Wachee, so any thing is a long trip for me.

I'm definitely down for this Saturday too, is an inshore saltwater license the only thing required? If so I believe their free for Fl residents.

I think there is a limit of what you can collect- like 10 ? of each species.. hermits,snails.ect
not sure of the quantity though.

If we are going Saturday, could I get a ride to Ft. D S from someones house in Largo ? . I have a long drive before getting to pinellas co.
Will bring some food and snacks for the ride + some gas money. Anybody ?

Everyone is welcome! And yeah there is a limit. It's like you can not take more than 20 items total and no conch snails. There are some other limitations too. Ill look it up and post a link
