OK. The orders have been entered and everyone should have received a confirming PM along with a balance due via Paypal. Please be prompt with payment (50% of your total) so that I can submit the order; it's currently pending in my shopping cart!

Thanks!!

-Rob

Note on Paypal transfer...if you use a checking/savings account as your funding source there is no service charge. If you transfer money from a credit card, though, a fee (2 or 3%, if I recall) is subtracted from the receiver's total.

PLEASE don't stick Rob with a loss...if you have to use a credit card, plan on paying the fee with your second payment.

Hmm...I thought if a person is set up to be able to receive CC payments, Paypal asses a fee on all transactions...at least that's the way it's been working out for me. Also, I think they raised the fee to 4%.

Thanks to all who paid!!

The order has been submitted. As for Paypal, I calculated at 3% as an estimate. Paypal charges 3.3 - 3.6%, depending on your payment type. That leaves a very small balance for each of you, generally around a quarter ($0.25), plus or minus a few pennies.

That amount can simply be included in your check when you pick up your goodies. Let me know if you need your exact total beforehand.

I'll post here when the order arrives.

I also appreciate everyone looking out for me. :)

Receiving money funded by instant transfer from a checking account is free for personal accounts. Credit cards are now (YIKES!!!) 4.9% + $.30 for personal accounts.

Business (or Premier) accounts are charged the same for either funding type.

Here's their fee chart.

I guess my assumption that Rob was operating under a personal account might have been flawed

I know a lot of people, myself included, switched to business accounts way back when - mainly due to the fact that personal accounts couldn't accept credit cards period at that time. AFAIK, there's no way to go back :(

I've had a Premier account since 2000. Makes it easier when taking credit card payments.

If you take the 2.9% fee and then add the service charge ($0.30), it averages out to 3.2% - 3.4% of the total transaction amount (especially for small purchases such as individual group buys). Hence most folks are left with a small balance around $0.25 after the 3% estimate.

If you paid me via Paypal and would like to know the exact amount that Paypal charged, drop me a PM.

That 4.9% fee is a killer on personal (non Premier) accounts!!

Thanks again Rob, I (and I'm sure everyone) really apprecaite your hard work on this.

Thanks agian.
