Found a crab eating my red planet SPS

Okay - I'm at lost here... I just found this small white crab that is eating away at my red planet. When he's out and try to smash him with a tweezer but seems to always escape me.

Does anyone have any other ideas on eradicating this SPS eater... ????

If he looks like the above, he is harmless, and a really cool addition to a reef.

If he looks like the below, however, I would definitely get rid of him.

Okay so after trying every trap idea found under the sun. I was planning to take the rock out and flush him out. But I hated the idea of having to re-aquacape because nothing will go back to where everything is at. And everything is perfect at the moment other than the pest...

I had some old Joe's Juice laying around and I squirt massive amounts of the applicaiton into the hole he's been hiding in. Low and behold, the little guy comes out dazed and confused - he didn't know what the heck was going on. It was like watching an sea animal trying to deal with an oil spill. That's when I stabbed in with a wooden BBQ skewer.

I've never been so happy. I hope this idea can be of some use to folks who find this hitch hiker...

..why kill.. I toss them in the sump they are scavengers and help break down anything that makes it into the sump.

There was no way to pick up this little terror other than to stab him. This was the only sure way to make sure he didn't get away again. Plus I hear these creatures lay eggs. I would hate for the eggs to make it up to the display tank from my sump. Why take a chance...

CBS are the worst! Some love 'em... I hate 'em. Mine terrorized my tank & damn near every new addition in the tank.

Oh man I found 2-3 of these little guys in my LR wen it was younger, all in the same piece too. I wound remove one and find another many months later. I also found sever small frags that went missing, dead of coarse. I either kill them or feed them to a large puffer at a LFS.
