Found a fish tank, what can I keep?

Hello all, today I found a 28g bio cube and stand on the curb in a townhome community, seems to have been out for only a couple days. Thank tank and stand were seran-wrapped pretty good to avoid incoming rain so I put it in my car. The tank had a few really nice pieces of live rock and sand still inside.

Once home I emptied the tank tossed the sand and noticed the hood light and ballast had corroded which is probably why they threw it out but the tank and stand were in great condition, no cracks and holds water. I'll probably sell the tank and stand later but my question is; can I keep the rock to use later after soaking in bleach and curing for a period of time? The rock is really nice, some of the best quality naturally arching rock I have ever seen. Any input would be nice

Of course you can keep the rock. If you do bleach and clean it (which is recommended if it's been dry for any period of time) it'll turn back into dry/base rock that'll need to be re seeded to return to live. Great score BTW, wish I could get something like that free...
